FCC Pty Ltd was founded in 2019 by Hashem Shafaie, our owner and director. Hashem is a qualified civil engineer who graduated in 2000 and brings more than two decades of expertise in construction, project management, and development.

With 12 years of extensive international experience spanning both domestic and commercial construction sectors, Hashem developed a strong foundation in managing complex projects from concept through to completion.

In 2011, he relocated to Australia, where his overseas qualifications were formally assessed and recognised by Engineers Australia. Over the next 8 years, Hashem played a key role in delivering multi-million-dollar projects for tier-one commercial builders in Melbourne, further refining his ability to manage large-scale operations with precision and a strong focus on quality.

Recognising a gap in the market for highly personalised and detail-driven construction services, Hashem established FCC Pty Ltd to combine his technical expertise with a client-first approach. Since its inception, the company has grown steadily, building a diverse pipeline of projects and a loyal network of clients who value professionalism, clear communication, and superior craftsmanship.
